Advocating for Washington Dairy
The Washington State Dairy Federation (WSDF) is a nonprofit trade association representing Washington dairy producers on local, state, and federal legislative and regulatory issues.
Founded in 1892, WSDF is the oldest dairy trade association in the United States. For more than a century, the Federation has served as a collective voice for Washington’s dairy farmers, working to support a strong and sustainable business climate for the dairy industry.
Today, WSDF continues to be a voluntary membership organization representing approximately 250 dairy producers across Washington. The Federation works closely with state and federal agencies, elected officials, agricultural organizations, and industry partners to advocate for producers and address issues affecting their farms and businesses.
WSDF’s work includes maintaining open dialogue with regulatory agencies, engaging with policymakers, supporting research that advances the health and welfare of livestock and the environment, and promoting the interests of Washington’s dairy producers.
